Apparently Steve Smith asked the few players that had actually met Renshaw to point him out as he didn't even know what he looked like!Comment

Re: Third test Australia V South Africa - Adelaide
When was that? On ABC radio yesterday they said that Smith wanted to work out who should field at slip so they tried to free up some time that Smith and Renshaw could practice together but they could only find a one hour window on Monday. I don't know how much of that is true or it's just one of those stories that bank up when things aren't going your way. They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.Comment

I'd read that Renshaw took a similar stance at the wicket to Haydos - not wrong.
Faf is one classy batsman - I like the Fafs & Virats of the world that love the challenge of them against the world....but at least Virat sees the funny side of it. Be combative and use the boos as you walk out to bat to spur you on, but spare me your complaints that a few people booed once you got your hundred. Sounded like 10 % of the noise on TV was boos to me - and BTW you've been found guilty of ball tampering (as per today's rules) Faf, so you're gonna get booed.Float Along - Fill Your LungsComment

“I had never set eyes on our new opening batsman Matthew Renshaw until a couple of days ago,” Smith wrote in a column for Cricket Australia’s website. “A few of us had arrived in Adelaide a bit ahead of most of the squad, and I had to quietly ask a couple of the guys who had met Matt beforehand to make sure they pointed him out to me if he happened to walk past.Comment

When they got to Adelaide, whenever that was:
Steve Smith didn’t recognise Matthew Renshaw and had to have him pointed out by teammatesOur 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.Comment

Been impressed with what Khawaja brings to the team. Has really developed as a player and is one of few highlights this series.Comment

Instead we wasted a cap on HenriquesComment

But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.Comment

This is much more pleasant. Sure there's not a lot happening deck and ball wise at present, but there's not a heap of stupidity with the bat which is refreshing.TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.Comment

Khawaja's ton, Hanscombe's 50 and Smith's 50 mask an average batting performance by the top 7.Comment

Maddison did what was expected of him by 99% of the nation, the 1% expecting more were the selectors.
Wade has not been in form, I like him a lot but said last week that he shouldn't get picked because of how bad he has been.
This hasn't been fantastic but taking everything into account I'd say we have done OK.Comment
