162 behind on the first innings. You have a wonderful ability for understatement BAD, what Victoria has is terminal to its chances of winning another Shield.we are going to run Tassie into some good form though.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Unfortunately for us Tassie people, the second innings has let Victoria back in. Tas need something like another 150 runs and are already 4 wickets down.

Went and watched two sessions today; tough conditions to bat. Ball was hooping and was pretty overcast all day. Same tomorrow I think. Fekete bowled really well.

One thing Victoria does very well in recent years is fight games out.

Vics need 378 in the fourth innings to win.

Could have been less after having Tassie 6/87 at one stage, but the number 8 Rogers made 80 in a total of 215.

                  All over, 156 run loss.

Really need a few batsman and a wicketkeeper to stick their hand up next year. We never really got going through all the chopping and changing.

Very happy with the result. Tom Rogers batting at 8 has had a great first season for Tassie.

Yep. I always want to see the side that tipped us out win the comp. it makes it less hard to take losing.

Isn't long form cricket a great game? You blokes monster us for just a bit short of three days then you have a bad couple of hours and we almost punched it. I wonder when you are making a fourth innings run chase like that how much residual effect of the previous three days bad performance lingers? There must be times that you stop and think "I can't believe we are still in this" and it has to impact on your performance. Anyway, that's what I reckon.

Wonder if we will see Tremain in the Australian setup some time soon? May need to move back to NSW.

Tremain named Shield Player of the Year

Victoria fast bowler Chris Tremain has been named the 2017-18 Sheffield Shield Player of the Year.

Tremain was the competition's leading wicket-taker, claiming 51 wickets from 10 matches at an average of 21.07 including two five-wicket hauls, and best match figures of 10-143 against Western Australia in Round 8.
