He's a talent but you hope he doesn't go the way of Brad Hogg and become too reliant on it. If he's going to have sustained success, it'll be with his stock leg break.

Lets see if Marcus Harris can go on with his good start. He needs to turn 50's into 100's

Chris Tremain with another 5 as NSW bowled out for 159 on new MCG pitch.

Is Chris a contender for test selection at some stage?

He's the next one behind the NSW trio

Is he though? Why did the selectors pick Siddle, Neser and Doggett ahead of him for the Pakistan series? He thrived on the flat MCG wicket last season and the selectors still weren't convinced that he was suitable for flat UAE wickets for some reason.

Maybe he needs to move back to NSW.

I think he should be given we are back in Australia. Siddle doesn't bowl quick enough, Neser looks good but not great and Doggett has plenty of potential but I'm not sure he is ready. Bird should be in the mix but I read somewhere he thinks the selectors have ruled a line through him.
On top of that Coulter-Nile looks to likely to stay as a limited over cricketer and the likes of Sayers and Copeland are like Siddle in that they just don't generate enough pace. Pattinson would be in the mix if he was fit.

To me we really need a bit of luck this summer in keeping our fast bowlers fit enough

Gee that Daniel Fallins from NSW can rip his leggie's. He tends to bowl a bad ball an over but he can turn it a bit

A sensational double hundred by Marcus Harris has been the highlight for the Vic's today and a massive lead over NSW

I had no idea it was mental health, from what I read it was a lethargy thing and they were hoping he would be back next game .
The kids an absolute star hope he recovers.

Had this conversation with a mate this week. His traditional deliveries that took wickets seemed to be mainly long hops that got lucky. Let's wait and see how he develops.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?
