Pakistan haven't bowled well enough and Warner is dominating. He's just about closed the talk on him being replaced.

Another poorly attended 1st day by the WA locals. I really don't understand why they can't get anywhere near the target 20K and it's going to be more like 14 or 15k

Haha, surely with their fair and reasonable surplus the government can just subsidise the tickets?

With a bit better fielding from Pakistan this day would have a different tinge to it. Not a material change, but Pakistan would have a bit of a sniff.

I agree, there was about a 10 or 12 over period where they bowled at least one bad ball an over that typically cost them a boundary and then let some runs slide with some less than enthusiastic fielding.

Thank god for Dave Warner, everyone else throwing their starts away.

Even with the sloppy fielding and missed catch here or there, it could have been a blood bath for Pakistan.

The match looked over when Warner and Head were together. Those last couple of wickets make it interesting but if Pakistan don’t roll through us quickly I think we’ll bat them out of it today.

Good day to work from home!

Some credit to the Paki's as they have bowled well at times, just not consistent enough, thought the two making their debut have done ok considering, but as the number 1 bowler and a quality fast bowler, Afridi looks great but then let's himself down with some rubbish, a few of the wickets have been from good bowling, Head's tap shot was just a dolly straight to Salman.

The ball that bowled Carey was a ripper. Will be interesting to see what the pitch looks like when our quicks bowl on it.

There's been the genuine mix of wild and excellent bowling again.

God bless the modern cricketer walking at the bowling first ball after lunch when on 90........

Test is over. We seriously have to bring in away team chooses whether to bat or bowl.
