There's been the genuine mix of wild and excellent bowling again.

It was a good ball that got Carey on the last ball before drinks so okay fair enough but it shits me that we regularly lose so many wickets in the last over before a break and the first over after a break. Marsh needs an uppercut for that dismissal even if it was a good ball.

It was the loosest of shots wasn't it, gap between bat and pad was more of a number 11 batsman, Marsh does tend to premeditate quite a few shots which is fine when he's in and seeing the ball like a basketball, but you still need to get the eye back in after a lunch break.

Averages aren't everything but with a 53 average and with no obvious replacement our selectors aren't even speculating on that.
The way he is getting out is troubling though.
