    Yep.

I like Schurrle and he's a very good player, but he doesn't fit the style we play and is hardly used. £23m rising to £27.5m is pretty good money for him too.

Cuadrado looks a jet and will fit in sweetly on the right wing and is the type of player Mou will love.

$9M a season I heard. Not bad for a player in the twilight of his career. No wonder he doesn't want to play in the A-league (just yet) when he can still command that sort of money.

They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Plus the spending up on duds and being 19th and stuff.

That's why Everton wanted him back, the bloke is an Absolute Star of the highest order and would turn the A League on it's head.

Good luck to him and keep on earning Timmy.

Lamest excuse ever. Think he got the tap on the shoulder from the owners.

Glad he is gone. Did well to get us back up but this season has been poor. Don't think a new Manager will have enough time to turn the season around, however with only 4 points between 19th and 13th there still is hope.

Talk is Tim Sherwood may be the next gaffer.

Good news is that there was very little spending this transfer window, apart from a loan deal for Zarate. Maybe 'arry thought his time was up and no one wanted to play for him any more, or the rabble that currently is QPR.

I just loved watching Cahill run from contest to contest like a madman trying desperately to keep the ball in attack.

He's kind of reminds me a bit of Brad Johnson. You get used to him doing the hard things well and playing at a high level and helping win games. But every now and then he pulls out something special on a big stage to remind you what a terrific footballer he is. Or was in Johnno's case.

Totally. Even at the age of 37/ 38 f he decides to come back then it will be massive for the sport. There is no doubting his superstar status. He is a legend and appears to be a very down to earth type of fellow, which resonates even further with the general public.

Anyway this is an EPL UEFA discussion thread and I am steering off course with the Timmy Cahill love.
