Will make other clubs more attractive for players particular ones who guarantee European football very season. Great to have secured Bruno Fernandes but getting Jaden Sancho in the next transfer window in the European summer would be even bigger.

About time this has come about. Pep has been chanting innocent but the cheats have finally been found out. Will be interesting if he stays and fights or cuts and runs? This is worst news possible considering the state of their side. They can't exactly throw more money at what's already such an expensive side. How will they keep buying the best if they don't have Europe to promise? They have to appeal, they get to play next season but delay punishment. One season for enough money a player might come but two?

          Pep will cut and run.

City might be in free fall for awhile.

In fairness to Pep, the FFP cheating happened between 2012 and 2016, before he arrived at the club. That being said, I think everyone knew City's sponsorship income was BS and no one is surprised at this result. Will be really interesting to see what happens with the CAS appeal, how enforceable these rules even are, etc.

CAS? Pfft, they were the bozos who went through the motions when it heard the Essendon players appeal. I have no confidence in them at all.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Speaking of signings - Haaland has already proved to be an awesome signing for Dortmund. He is also the fastest player to score 10 goals in the Champions League. He is only 19. What a star already.

Sancho is also an absolute jet for them. Not sure how City decided to let him go.

They didn't have much choice, he chose to leave as they dont play the youth. Foden will probaly do the same this summer.

Either United or Chelsea are going to have a generational talent come summer in the battle for Sanchos signature.

What a goal he scored against PSG yesterday, net breaker.

This is going to be *!*!*!*!ing huge for the league and they are probably going to be the next Chelsea/City, getting an owner rich enough and generous enough to be able to take them to that final/top level.

Great for the league too and hopefully making it a so called "big 7" and opening the league up further.

It's very exciting as a Toon man myself, I'm married into the Geordie mafia and they're all in disbelief.
In terms of financial backing the Saudi Public Investment Fund which has an 80 percent share will have resources that eclipse anything that's come before in the PL. Assets at 320 billion with the crown prince as the chair.
Abramovich is valued at 11 billion for example.
Have to weigh it up against their human rights record of course. But I cant help but be excited.
