Re: The Chad Thread
Call my cynical, but I have a thought. The AFEL has changed the trade period so it finishes in prime time TV. Any tv producer would tell the AFEL that you need a big suspense, big names to attract people to watch it with white knuckles. And with their viewers attention, advertise the shit out of it for profit. A last second Josh Schache trade isn't impressive enough a debut tv opportunity for them. To make this a money maker, they need a big name or three running into the trade room at AFEL house at the last second. Maybe the AFEL have identified Wingard and Port and Port with GCS and GCS with May as their finale, proving that their concept works. The deals might be done in secret, but this suspense feels like an audience is being primed and every story guessing different outcomes is stoking the interest. I may well be wrong, but I'm pretty good with smelling AFEL manipulation bullshit.BORDERLINE FLYINGComment

I still think we are ahead to get him in my heart of hearts. And not necessarily about Chad related cash, but AFEL and Croc Media advertising cash. Re: The Chad Thread
Wish chad would just decide. If we are not his destination, say so, to at least give Sam Power the time to get Lloyd, duraya, Townsend, rose and anyone else in that bracket, that their clubs don’t want.I will never see #16 the same!!Comment

Re: The Chad Thread
If it means missing out on that group of players I'm happy for Chad to delay his decision until 5min before the cut-off... allowing just enough time to get the deal done.Comment

Re: The Chad Thread
Well, given that list of players you have just run through please dear god let Chad hold his tongue until the very last moment! What should I tell her? She's going to ask.Comment

From BF
I just spoke to a friend who works at 3aw and it was a mention that Wingard was interested in going to hawthorn as well as the bulldogs. This has not been mentioned via twitter at all on there page.I will never see #16 the same!!Comment

Re: The Chad Thread
Basically someone supposedly heard it on 3AW and some other people got texts from mates (not people they usually get news from) so it's very much unconfirmed.
Just confirms that the worst scenario is Hawthorn recruiting him. Feel it in your heart. You know it to be true.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]Comment

Re: The Chad Thread
Barrett & Plough still talking about Dogs Pick 7 for Wingard as likely trade right now. For what it’s worth. Not Hawthorn as favourite.
Plough saying Port working towards getting 7 from us, to go for 2 & 3 from GCS.Rocket Science: the epitaph for the Beveridge era - whenever it ends - reading 'Here lies a team that could beat anyone on its day, but seldom did when it mattered most'. 15/7/2023Comment
