So if you believe these two, we want Wingard, Port want to trade us with Wingard for pick 7. Just nominate us Wingard, everyone else is happy.

If he nominates us all is forgiven, but it seems to be taking longer than what is ideal.

        What’s Tony Sheahan’s hit rate? He’s tweeted it’s Hawthorn.

Can’t believe I’m still tracking this

I’m just hoping port are talking to GC about whether they will swap 2 and 3 for 6,7 and 10...or close to it, before news hits about wingard.
I will never see #16 the same!!

Agreed. He gets more money. Both clubs see the trade as a win. That’s win-win-win. You’d think it would be done soon, if so, because Port will need time to get GCS across the line, if they can.

Is this right? Has he retracted? Cannot find that tweet anywhere.

EDIT: found it in a response. He has tweeted the following:

@HawthornFC fans: Chad Wingard is keen to join the brown & gold! Now a deal has to be sorted....

Still questioning validity until we hear it from the Chad but not looking as great.

Must have been retracted or fake. Screenshot of it was from 4:14.

Plough says this is under way, with an asterisks next to pick 7 assuming Wingard nominates us.

*!*!*!*! this. I'm doing this for the second only ever time. You know the only other time I've done it...

Wingard will come to us a 6 year deal, worth $900,000 a year. For pick 7.

                    Now let's see what happens.

Did I win us a premiership?

                        Yes.

Tony Sheahan is a moron and if Wingard does go to the Hawks he's nothing more than lucky enough to have guessed right.

He was spruiking (tweeting) Shiel to Carlton as if it was a done deal so wouldn’t be too concerned.
