Well if true, bring on pick 7 or Steven May who it looks like is ripe for the picking as of this arvo.

Off Field, I would be saying to the player, we have a strong financial position with 3 years of $1 million plus profits, we have great facilities and are about to embark on another big development at the ground, we have a premiership coach with a young vibrant team all in your age bracket who can stick together and make history. The fans will love you and you will become a cult hero.

        He's only 'leaning' towards Hawks.
        There's 'no trade request'.
Based on The Hun 'understanding' from an unknown source or club (his manager jacking the price or Port putting on pressure to get our pick 7).
And Hawthorn only have 15 & 35, but dogs have 7.
Dogs had supreme confidence in landing him.

I freely admit the appearance looks like he's not coming to us. But there's actually not a lot of evidence in that one article to feel 100% in any direction to be honest.

I'm not 100% convinced that "Wingard's" preference for Hawthorn isn't a journalistic fantasy. I can't see any form talk about anything.

I'm not that stressed anyway. Wingard or pick 7 will do me either way.

If he stays and it's been one big dick tease to both clubs, liking both teams players Instagram accounts all of a sudden for weeks, taking the limelight, slowing the club's down from trading and pissing everyone off... The words escape me...

Could Hawthorn offer Ceglar as well as draft picks? They seem to be keen to get him off their books.

                    What a waste of time.

To be played again is annoying.

Hard to see this ever changing - we simply cannot attract high end talent

The only upside is every other thread wasn't consumed with whatever this was from Wingard. Practical joke maybe.

Not to Port since they just got Lycett.

It is the fault of the AFL. What attracts these blokes to the MCG tenants is the pull of the big crowds and the block busters.(include Bombres because they get so many)

North - Polec. Gold Coast - Weller . Saints - Carlisle . Off the top of my head.

*!*!*!*! it, offer pick 7 to Adelaide crows to scare Port. It would give Adelaide hand to trade with GC for pick 2 or 3. Port will say to Chad it dogs or us.

Considering we went public with our interest this feels (to me) a massive slap in the face. I would assume we would not have done that without a strong belief it was likely . Have to say I'm pretty dissapointed. And it's not about Chad, it's about our perception as a club. I don't get it.
