Re: Early Trade Rumours for 2022
Yes, he's very much a forward who got 2 or 3 small forwards in front of him at Fremantle. He was a top 10 pick so they won't give him away without getting a suitable return.Western Bulldogs Football Club "Where it's cool to drool"Comment

Re: Early Trade Rumours for 2022
Liam Henry couldn't get a game for Freo this year, with Schultz, Walters and Switkowski filling the small forward spots. When he did play he was tried on a wing with minimal effect.
Jeremy Sharp from GC apparently has interest from Melbourne clubs. He would fit our needs for a hard running wing who can find the ball. One on Dew's naughty list who doesn't get games, like Brodie, Wright, Lyons etc.Comment

In 2021 he had back to back 30 possession games but seemingly on the outer this year.Western Bulldogs Football Club "Where it's cool to drool"Comment

Re: Early Trade Rumours for 2022
Okay so I’ve been meaning to say this for a couple of weeks but it’s only getting truer with each passing day.
We all can likely in some form agree that there are two critical holes in our list that have been shown out in our worst losses over and over again - KPD 1 and the ruck, whether your stance is we need support for Tim or Tim to be the support.
There are two quality and available options out there to fill both, or at least some form of these positions, both readily available and possibly even so at some sort of initial or salary cost discount - Logue and Grundy.
So what do we know.
We know that the Pies, both on previous conduct and current rumour, would take a piece of Grundy’s salary if they are fairly compensated at the trade table. We also know that Melbourne is a toxic shithole of a club and Grundy seems to be a pretty vibes-based guy.
We know that the leading bid for Logue is 4x$650k, which doesn’t seem that intimidating and I would like to believe if offered to him by the well-run, generally successful and stocked with A-grade talent Western Bulldogs would trump any offer from lowly, reviled, pitiful North Melbourne.
We know that between JJ leaving, Dunkley likely moving to Brisbane to be even further away from his girlfriend and closer to his sister which still isn’t at all weird, and the alleged offer to Lobb that we probably have the money and draft capital to accomodate both of the above guys.
So can anyone please explain to me why on earth we aren’t just doing these deals instead of wasting our time with lesser versions of the same types of players? Are we afraid of becoming too good? Afraid of agitating a certain ruckman who has spewed it in no less than 3 consecutive years of finals losses? Am I just crazy for expecting cogent moves out of a club infected with intergenerational key forward top up trauma? What is it. It’s gotta be something other than what it’s being said to be on its face (that Lobb/Jones/Rowe will help us more than Grundy and Logue) because that would just be stupid.- I'm a visionary - Only here to confirm my biases -Comment

Re: Early Trade Rumours for 2022
Has Henry shown anything?
I don't watch Freo a lot but he's never struck me as a player who would make it. Lightly framed, avoids contact...
Tucker? Initially it wouldn't be on my agenda, but we really do need some senior support given our depth has taken a real hit in recent years.
I'd like to add a couple of that nature if we can.W00F!Comment

Logue isn't necessarily a big key defender but he would be an upgrade on the likes of Keath/Cordy/TOB for that second/third role.
Jones and Logue would be nice additions to our back half given they're both good athletes. Gardy isn't too bad either. Logue is also a good age. Keath/Cordy are horrendously slow and were caught out on the lead/in open space with regularity.
Clearly we must not rate Logue, which, based on our recent recruiting (TOB, McComb) is a little strange.
That or we have someone else in our sights?
We live in hope.W00F!Comment

The netball season is not long. This year was from 26 March to 3 July. The rest of the season she probably lives in QLD, or will do if Dunkley moves there.FFC: Established 1883

So what you are saying is she could easily live in Melbourne the rest of the year then? I don't buy that any move is related to where his girlfriend is.Comment

Re: Early Trade Rumours for 2022
Jackson officially requests a trade to WA - not to Freo or WCE specifically.
Melbourne will love this. Potentially makes them a far better side if they land Grundy AND get x2 first round picks.
Jackson is a talent but not worth x2 first rounders nor 900K.
I'm annoyed that Melbourne actually benefit from this.W00F!Comment
