Train well. Be the BEST player on the track.
Play WELL in the VFL. Be the player whose effort can NEVER be questioned.
Do your extras. Seek knowledge but not for the sake of it...make the questions you ask GENUINE and work to solve one problem before trying to find the solution to another.
Lastly? Keep your head down. Shut your mouth. And shut your manager's mouth.

Good news. He played last Thursday night. He plays tomorrow night.

Coaches play the players they TRUST to deliver results in important moments. Trust is built and earned through consistent performances over time. If you aren't being selected, it isn't because you aren't good enough - it is because the COACH doesn't trust you yet. Prove it. Build it. Once you have, you will get games when people think you shouldn't...games = opportunity...

In the case of young Henry, Johnson has beaten him out. Play better and you will be back in.
I think I can pick the player but the message is about becoming the best player you can be and listening to the coaches.
It's good for a player to reach out to previous coaches.

I can recall sitting alongside of Ward at a players sponsors night as he was entering his 1st season and he was really hoping for a game.
By the end of his 2nd year he played 22 of them so in some cases it just takes time.

How on earth can Richmond get both Tarranto and Hopper!?

          What picks/players would it take?

Not sure how they are going to get these deals done:

GWS is demanding Richmond cough up two first-round draft picks for Tim Taranto as the Giants dig in on their departing stars.

The Giants are attempting to ease the squeeze on their salary cap as they reset under new coach Adam Kingsley, but SEN has learned this will be far from a fire sale.

The out of contract Taranto, 24, has agreed to join the Tigers on a seven-year deal – a lucrative contract the Giants believe warrants lucrative compensation.

Jacob Hopper is contracted for next year at GWS, but met with the Tigers on Monday and has also had talks with Geelong as he looks to move to a Victorian club.

The Giants insist they will ask for a top-10 pick at a minimum for Hopper, who has twice finished in the top three of the best and fairest and was in last year’s All-Australian squad of 40.

They have picks 12, 19 and 30 this year, a future first and speculation they could offer up Soldo to GWS as part of the deal.

                Well played by them.

How did they end up with 19?

My question is why? Why do they choose Richmond and Geelong or Carlton and Hawthorn?? Why are we being aggressive or targeted in our approach? What are we not offering that these clubs are?

How does Reiwoldt stay on a base contract also?

Might be getting the brown paper bags out.

GWS are a complete waste of time.
