Re: Early Trade Rumours for 2022

We need to be patient with this Brisbane and GWS pick swap as it might unlock other deals. It doesn't look great at the moment but it might not have caught Sam Power off guard.

I haven't seen enough positives in him to think he's a reasonable option.

Not happy with this deal, two years ago we wanted two first rounders.
His football is quality and he has just won our B&F, would take 15 and a quality ready to go player.
The hypothetical (trying to make sense of this trade between GWS and Brisbane) is Dunkley for Future 1st, Future Second & Nick Haynes (or similar).

        Taking the trade period to:

In: Jones, Haynes, Future First, Future Second (GWS)
        Out: Dunkley, Cordy

we were never getting 15 from Brisbane.

Sam has said that players might have to be part of it.

I should add could pick 7 be in play?

Bowes has apparently nominated Geelong as his preferred club.

When I first heard that Zaine Cordy was joining the Saints..."That's a great pick up for St Albans - Deer Park normally get all the ex-AFL players".

When I heard it was St Kilda..."So that's what Geoff Walsh meant when he wanted to make St Kilda relevant as a finals contender again - they're signing a load of local footy level talent and replacing Deer Park in the WRFL".

Still think Zaine would be better off joining Ayce in the ammos.

(I really can't see senior GWS players being open to a Bulldogs trade)

I think Sam has been in discussion on this pick swap. Do we get Payne in as a player?

The good part is it's another loss to Messendon. Always look on the bright side

                              So pick 15 gone ?
I can now see it being future first and a non best 22 player.
What a joke if that’s the case.
I will never see #16 the same!!

Sammy P hasn't let us down yet, let's keep the effigies and pitchforks in the shed at least until trade week is over.
