It would be bad enough for the blokes getting a regular game or at least considered "required" players but you can add potentially ending these players careers here (due to the risk involved for other clubs).

Do you think we will get a bit of backlash now of a few players who now have nothing to lose?
The delaying tactics by the club and Hird have been by design and not by accident. The 34 show cause notices now only apply to less than 20 players that are actually still at the club. Their hypocrisy in crying foul over the ASADA delays are only fooling the moronic scribes and their gullible fans - they want the delays to continue for as long as possible so that it mitigates their overall future on-field impact on playing personnel still on the list.

    Dirty club.

I'm just waiting, begging, HOPING for something concrete to stick! It's just an endless game of almosts and non resolutions. I want to see the knockout blow land. I want the club bought to its knees and for it to actually admit fault and apologize. I want that confident smirk wiped off golden boys face. I think I might even boycott watching any essendon games next year. The sight of that jumper just makes me feel physically repulsed. Dirty filthy rotten club.

They must have money to burn. The spend on coaches alone is mind blowing.

When your president has $800m, you can bet they are counting pennies.

Not to mention that they will still get banned, delisted or not. It would stop them playing for any competition, VFL, EDFL, etc. They'd better hope they've got a part-time uni degree or a trade to fall back on.

Re: ASADA issues show-cause notices to Essendon players

There's a very interesting article in The Australian today in relation to the Essendon Supplement Saga - it is paywalled so I'll paraphrase below. They are rooted and they know it:

Global Sales Manager Vincent Xu of GL Biochem who was the supplier of peptides allegedly used by Essendon has revealed Shane Charter posed as a pharmaceutical rep to obtain peptides for research.

Charter was asked to obtain written acknowledgement that the peptides were not for human use which he supplied. It was signed and dated December 8th, 2011. Charter will be held responsible for improper use by himself or a 3rd party.

Furthermore, Xu has revealed that the only Thymosin supplied was the banned peptide Thymosin Beta 4.

So Charter will have to put himself in the crosshairs in order to give evidence.

                Interesting.

Interesting that the article has been penned by Hird kool-aider Chip Le Grand. Trying to discredit ASADA's star witness and distance Hird from the discussion. Gee I hope Charters doesn't have any emails or text messages directly linking Hird to the program

There's some kid at the ASADA court challenge, cheering on Hird, wearing WB colours! WTH.

So aside from Hird's appeal, what is happening with the Show Cause notices and the players?

Poor kids. If the meaning of life is to continue improving our evolutionary trajectory as humans by making our kids better people then every person in that image who has children has failed.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

The girl with the Dogs hair has red hair. And now she cares about Essendon. Make up your own mind. I know I have

PS to make the joke clearer does she have a #17 on the back?
