If the players can get off with a 2 week deal then I think they have done very well.

Big news I would have thought.

Would have to assume it's either the Crameri/Prismall combination or the Ryder/Monfries combination.

Agree, would be a great outcome and allow them to put the ordeal behind them.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

I'm assuming it's not 2 weeks more like from when they take the deal up until Round 3. Which would also mean he is unable to train with us, use facilities etc. Again that's an assumption on my behalf but I doubt it would be just 2 weeks off football. Hope it's Crameri taking the deal. Let those other Red and Black arrogant cheats miss an entire year!

Anyone thinking WADA will appeal two matches given the situation Essendon have created?

Two weeks, I would take that. Lets hope that is it for our players.

Geez I hope it is Crameri (& Prismall) too. If this is true then kudos to legal eagle Starr and the 2 players for thinking wisely and not following the Hird.

Why now though? They could have done this at any point over the last 24 months

How long ago did they change legal representation? That might be why?

Was a two game ban on offer?

I'd guess that they aren't prepared to wait it out and they think the deal is a fair one.

I'm guessing if this is true then it is a 6 month ban backdated to last match or something like that, which in effect means 2 weeks ban in 2015 season.

They only just got served the infraction notices didn't they? Probably 6 months from then
If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.

In reality a 2 game ban stinks. I don't care if Crameri misses 6 months. If the difference is whether you fess up over taking a banned substance over an extended period then that is just a little bit smelly and doesn't hold water to me.

I wonder who many Bombres break rank now they know what the offer is.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.
