How can Hird possibly coach these players when they specifically told him don't appeal the decision we want it over and done with and then he goes and appeals it.
He says its about the players but when the players tell him what they want he does the opposite, think its pretty obvious it's about him and no one else now.
Ps anyone see the reception Bomber got at the B&F?
It was huge, players standing up cheering, quite obvious who they want as coach, if he coaches next year I can see essendon having a great year next year.

Looks like "the Weapon" will be paid out by Essendon in an $800k out of court settlement and Hird sacked...

Look. I have a ghoulish side to me and I can't help checking the Essendon board on bigfooty whenever something like this happens.

The Bombers pay out Dean Robinson, and it's a conspiracy from Mike Fitzpatrick forcing them to protect Demetriou's role in the scandal, and the AFL will actually pay 'the weapon' the money. How funny is that?

I can't see that. I don't rate Goddard + the Bendigo Bombers.

Hird has just ensured that the 34 past and present Bombers players wont be playing to at least July.

It's pretty clear to me the EFC went through the motions to appease Hird with the federal court challenge on the proviso he'd accept the umpires call. They had to do it because it's what their members wanted.

Hird once again hasn't accepted the outcome and he has to go it alone. I don't blame him for trying to clear his name, if he rolled over at any stage in the last year his business career post football would have been screwed.

Bet your bottom dollar he will be working for ch7 next year.
