Re: ASADA issues show-cause notices to Essendon players

Another thing that's laughable is Essendon constantly say they've been waiting 3 years for a verdict. They "self reported" in Feb 2013, it's now March 2015, how is that 3 years? If it weren't for their repeated legal action it would have in fact concluded in well under 2 years.

Just more rubbish to try to sound hard done by.

Isn't that the equivalent of pleading guilty, which means that we have only been arguing over the punishment all this time. I wasn't aware that a guilty plea gave you the ability to argue that you hadn't done it.

No, "self reporting" meant they opened themselves up for the anti-doping body to investigate if there'd been any breaches. They didn't think they had committed any breaches, but because they're such on honourable they wanted to make sure.

I note Greystache that you couldn't use the words "honourable" and "Essendon" in the same sentence.

Didn't James Turd attempt to say in court that they only self reported due to pressure from the AFL. Ie; they were coerced.

                Sort of.

He said that he disagreed with the club's decision to self report, and that any statement he made in the media taking any sort of responsibility wad made under duress.

Apparently a 'surprising revelation from Stephen Dank' coming via Damien Barrett on the Footy Show tonight.

As I'm not a masochist I don't watch The Footy Show.

                    What was said?
                    TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

As I don't watch the Footy Show ( I cannot see how the AFL version is still on TV ), did Barrett have anything worthwhile ?

Apparently it was Joe Daniher wasn't injected and doesn't have an IN, he was just given protein powder while training with the club. Huge news

Only two more sleeps to go.

I got a feeling it's 2 more sleeps until another year of Essendon drugs scandal BS continues with appeal after appeal after court case after court case.
