Dale has been working the the managed group for a couple of weeks now.
I'll know more tomorrow regarding Duryea but he come off on Fridays training session and looked to be indicating a hamstring issue.

I could say it is because it fits my schedule.

I intend to be there although the 5.20 pm start is a minor challenge.

The results isn't important from my perspective but how we play and get ball moving around holds a lot more weight.

How we defend the ground in transition and compete up forward is extremely important.

They were glaring deficiencies in the EF and I’ll be interested to see what we do differently, with lots of different personnel.

                      Garcia - Harmes - O'Donnell - Hynes - Khamis
                      Busslinger + Poulter (Travelling emergencies)

                      Not considered
                      Treloar - Ugle-Hagan - Weightman - Duryea - L.Jones - Richards - Dale - Johannisen
I'm going to amend this slightly given there is 8 on the bench and after today's training session

                      Bramble - Gardner - Freijah

                      Garcia - Harmes - O'Donnell - Baker - Khamis - Busslinger, Poulter and A.Jones

Dale trained well so should be good to play.
Jones trained with the forwards. Looked sharp
                      Poulter also up forward.
I think JOD backs-up Naughton and Darcy. Busslinger backs up Lobb and Gardner.
Garcia and Harmes get plenty of time around the middle of the ground.,

What is the story with West and Duryea please? Has Duryea been confirmed with Hamstring issue?

JOD seems to be getting a bit of time swinging forward compared to what we initially seemed to have him targeted for.

Just a case of need, die to disruption elsewhere on the list or is his development proving to be a real puzzle the coaches haven’t quite unlocked yet? Of course, it might just be a talent issue when push comes to shove.

Doesn’t sound coherent to me and I am worried it’s going the path of Buku who we wasted years in trying him everywhere instead of getting him ready for a particular role and raring him in merit in that role.

West is only not playing if carrying an injury. Surely ODonnell or Khamis are in before Gardiner. Gardiner looked woeful against the dons. Hopefully against dons players were told to take no risks and always kick over the mark. Hopefully see improvement this week.

He appeared to have some hamstring tightness today so only did some managed work in the rehab area.
I agree he would be a very early selection if fit.
