Re: Welcome to the Bulldogs: Bailey Smith
Dunks trade still hurts me.
Basically we received :
Pick 21 (2022) - Clarke.
Pick 17 (2023) - Used as part of Sanders with pick 10 and a future first. Ended up being pick 23 Hardeman at North.
Pick 40 (2023) - Went to Saints for Coffield with a few other late picks going each way
Pick 67 (2023) - Not used.
We gave :
Dunkley
Pick 47 (2023) - Lions used in Gunston trade out where they got Brandon Ryan in.
Pick 50ish (2023) - Can't quite work out where this went. BT?
In reality - it's pick 21 (22) and 23 (23) for Dunkley which is just shit house.BT COME BACK!

Re: Welcome to the Bulldogs: Bailey Smith
WC In: English, Hawks Pick 8ish Out: Reid
Hawks In: Smith Out: Pick 8ish, F2
Dogs In: Reid, F2 Out: English and Smith
Expensive for us and never gonna happen based on Reid hype and ceiling- but I would do this.
Edit: Forgot Tim was a RFA.Comment

Re: Welcome to the Bulldogs: Bailey Smith
Reid is not going to happen at any price based on the "one in a generation" potential. But on balance (aside the RFA aspect derailing) that is a pretty fair trade.Comment

Re: Welcome to the Bulldogs: Bailey Smith
It should be a top 10 pick but if it's anything later then perhaps a 1st rounder and 2nd rounder would be a fair return. There are some great youngsters in the draft so might be able to find a good replacement.Western Bulldogs Football Club "Where it's cool to drool"Comment
