    Re: 2016 Draft Watch

thought the VM v VC game was the best game of u/18 footy I've seen since the 2002 game to decide the champs.

So much to like about many of the players who showcased their talents in fine style. Looks like a good draft to me.

Loved McGrath's game, took the game by the scruff in that last 1/4 by bursting through the lines, loved it. Venables, although quiet for most of it, was epic in that last 5 minutes or so to win the game for metro.

    looking forward to the next

Anyone catch the WA v Allies game today?
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Mutch is a good prospect. Is he linked to the academy teams?

one of the better reads on this year's draft prospects

The AFL Draft, first held in 1986, is the major list management tool for AFL clubs

                      Thanks Doctor!

A few prospects that look to fit our requirements in particular quick goal kicking forwards / mids .

Gallucci sounds exactly like what I think we need most. Has anyone seen him play and their thoughts?
More of an In Bruges guy?

He's my early pick. Runs a little like Akermanis with a low centre of gravity. Nice ball user, pacy. Would be very happy to have him.

I know bugger all about the potential draftees, but the profiles & bios of Gallucci & Venables sound like the type of players we could use.

Both likely to go top 10?

Venables is climbing and will likely end up top 10, Galluci seems to be rated 10-20.

I had a good look at him yesterday and he moves well and makes very good decisions. There is plenty to like about him

Venables was very noticeable yesterday. He's an exciting player and very strong. Given he has missed a lot of football he still has a lot of upside.

Gallucci is a ready made player but I just wonder how much better he could get.

Breakaway speed and gets a lot of the ball. Athletically better than just about anyone. Effective kick but not great tends to go the short option a bit.
