Would love to see your draft order - at least until pick 13... 😁

I'll add it tonight. I don't try and predict where the players will go they're just ranked by my limited vision of them

        Re: 2019 Draft Watch

There are two draft orders you can do
        1 best players in order.
        2 teams needs.
        Teams needs is more realistic.
Could you possibly do both GVGjr it would be interesting to see how players could change in order, who would drop and who would jump.

          Re: 2019 Draft Watch

Here is 20 names as I see them, there will be plenty of changes from about pick 15 onwards

          Matthew Rowell
          Dylan Stephens
          Deven Roberston
          Tom Green
          Luke Jackson
          Sam Flanders
          Noah Anderson
          Liam Henry
          Hayden Young
          Brodie Kemp
          Lachlan Ash
          Caleb Serong
          Finn Maginness
          Fischer McAsey
          Josh Worrell
          Dylan Williams
          Miles Bergmen
          Cody Weightman
          Will Gould
          Harrison Jones

I have enough trouble trying to predict our own line-ups this season by our MC than to even attempt to work out what other clubs might do

            Re: 2019 Draft Watch

If it went that way and Hawks matched a bid at 13, would you take the key defender in McAsey next, or favour one of the others behind him?
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

              Next best all the way.

It's still an unsettled list but the players ranked in the top 10 I can't see changing much

Rowell is an impressive midfielder as are Stephens and Roberston. Green looks very capable of being a senior footballer and the rest all have genuine top 10 claims

Jackson is probably unlikely to go top 8 as history says ruckman go much later but he looks a real prospect

Surely the suns take Rowell and Anderson, there’s a certain poetry in that story and no doubt the draw of staying up there if they have each other.

I'm not trying to predict which players the clubs take but having said that I'd put money on the Suns taking Rowell and Anderson at 1 and 2
Stephens and Robertson I just rate higher than Anderson

                    Re: 2019 Draft Watch

Bit of a quirky one- Port have allegedly stopped any communication with Jackson Mead. As in, they just haven't been in touch in quite a while and Jackson and his folks don't really know where it's at.

Maybe this is some sort of psychological ploy to stop other clubs going an early bid to force Port's hand, but it's still a bit odd they wouldn't at least touch base every now and then. They are obviously hoping he gets past 18. Or maybe they aren't all that keen?

That’s very strange , being father son, he would have been training at the club since about 16 years of age you would have thought.

                        Cal Twomeys latest phantom draft:

Still have Rowell/Anderson as 1/2 and have Josh Worrell at pick 13.

Looks like the stock of Robertson and McAsey both seem to be rising.

Will Day looks about 13 in his photo.

I have no basis for it, but Bergman seems like a "Bulldogs" pick.

Who every AFL club should consider with their first pick in the national draft

                            WESTERN BULLDOGS

                            Draft picks: 13, 53, 89

                            Draftable Father-Son/Academy prospects: N/A

The Bulldogs were mighty firm on holding their first pick during trade period, indicating their desire to select a prospect in the second-half of the first round. It seems the forward-half of the ground is where their pressing needs, with Cody Weightman and Josh Worrell two such prospects. Weightman has great goal sense and x-factor around goal, with the lively prospect booting nine goals in four appearances for Vic Country. Worrell’s shoulder injury kept him out of testing at the national combine, but his athletic traits have been on show in 2019 as he has played right across the ground, using his leap to effectiveness at either end.

Late bloomer/bolter. Outside/forward player with good kicking skills addresses need. St Bedes boy. There’s some bulldogs/Bevo about him you’re right.
