That’s from yesterday. He’s about 20 I think. Didn’t nominate for the draft a year or two ago as he thought he wasn’t ready. To watch him play he’s very yappy on the field but by reports he’s a great guy

So on review, it's not just 45 goals, its 45 goals 11 behinds. Where do I sign?

I would be concerned Rowe would tip us over the edge of too many terrible haircuts on our list.

Is that Lowson from Coburg playing with him? Another who has been suggested as a small forward.

Rowe has averaged 2.3 tackles per match this season

Surely with those numbers he will be on other clubs radars and go before our first pick, wherever that lands after JUH?

He would definitely fill a need for us, although he is also quite similar to what we want Cody Weightman to be.

I don't think anything JUH does will change things, but hope Ewan keeps it low key.

Potential No.1 pick, famous name set to test in Vic Metro Draft Combine

THIRTY Victorian prospects will test at their state NAB AFL Draft Combine this Saturday in a fillip for the draft hopefuls after having their under-18 season wiped out.

The Vic Metro Combine will take place at the Holden Centre on Saturday with the players split into four groups across the day.

They will test in the vertical jump, 20m sprint and 2km time trial, with six Vic Country players, including potential No.1 pick Jamarra Ugle-Hagan, also involved in the testing.

Vic Country held its testing last week but players who were based in metropolitan Melbourne for school were unable to attend due to the COVID-19 restrictions in Victoria.

Richmond father-son prospect Maurice Rioli Jr, who was due to play for the Oakleigh Chargers in the NAB League this year but is originally from the Northern Territory, will also take part in the testing.

Among the highly rated Vic Metro prospects to test will be Will Phillips, Finlay Macrae and Archie Perkins, who all shape as first-round picks at December's draft.

It will be an important indicator for recruiters on how the draftees have handled a season without any games after the second wave of the pandemic saw competitions cancelled throughout the state.

The Combine will be staged as a private event with spectators not able to attend.

The results will be very interesting.

Cody Raak seems to have disappeared, unless we are hiding him. He did break his arm in 2019

For those who don't know him:

                                Cody Raak
                                Western Jets/Vic Metro
                                8/10/2002 | 191cm | 77kg

While he might fall just under the genuine key position quota at 191cm, the Western Bulldogs NGA hopeful is one who plays the defensive role well. Having already turned out 11 times at NAB League level for the Western Jets, Raak is one of the more seasoned members of his region and provides a good deal of versatility to the potential Vic Metro back six. Raak is able to read the play well across the backline and intercept aerially, while also using the ball soundly when in possession and notching up a solid amount of disposals. He is working on his strength and one-on-one craft, but looms as an exciting third tall type going forward.
