McDonald. Naughton goes back (even though I love him so much as a forward). Spine reads Keath, Naughton, English, JUH, McDonald.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

      I'd pick Marra twice!
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Say the Crows go for McDonald, then who?

I don't know the talent pool at all, so would be going off a quick look at the profiles from a few pages ago. I'm wary of talls after the failure of top 2 draft picks McCartin, Boyd and Schache but all things being even would probably push for one of them (so Thilthorpe/DGB I guess) for the same reason as my previous post, imagine the spine.

You can get pretty good everything else later in the draft (plus it probably develops quicker too).

I know going for the tall is as generic a draft strategy as there is though.

Yeah, I could live with that
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

                  Pick 26 = 729 points
                  Pick 33 = 563 points
                  Pick 41 = 412 points
                  Pick 42 = 395 points
                  Pick 54 = 220 points
                  Pick 90 = 0 points

                  Total points = 2,319

                  Pick 1 = 3,000 points
                  Pick 2 = 2,517 points

Taking into account the 20% discount we are short by 81 points short if a bid a pick one occurs. Points value at the bottom of this article.

Does anyone know how many positions in the 2021 draft we get bumped back by if we go in with an 81 point deficit?

Looking at Fremantle this year as an example. They finished 12th and got pick 7 (1644pts) but then had a 265pt deficit which moves them down to 1,379pts which is in between 10 and 11. The teams with 8,9 and 10 all moved up to 7,8,9, which left 10 open and since 1,379pts is more than 1,329 for pick 11, Fremantle end up with pick 10.

So, 81 pts would only start to make a difference when it leaves us with fewer points than the next team to pick. This would first occur at pick 9 as the difference between 9 and 10 is 74pts. So we would be dropping back 1 pick until there's a point where 81pts is larger than the gap between 2 picks. This first occurs at pick 17. The points gap between 17 and 19 is 77pts, so if we got pick 17, it would move down to 19 and if we got pick 18 it would move down to pick 20.

If we go into deficit, does this mean we will only have one draft pick this year.

If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.

Cal Twomey's 2020 Phantom Form Guide: November update

                              1. Jamarra Ugle-Hagan

                              195cm/90kg
                              4/4/02

                              Key forward

The special key forward remains at the top of the draft crop as the best player in the pool. Ugle-Hagan is headed to the Western Bulldogs, who are preparing as if a bid could come at No.1 and have loaded up on draft points to be ready to match it. The long-kicking left-footer had a terrific season last year for the Oakleigh Chargers, booting 24 goals from nine games, including playing in the NAB League premiership. At the recent Victorian Combine he also showed his athletic traits by running 2.89 seconds over the 20m sprint to show his exciting athleticism.
