fantastic video, can see him become a cult figure if recruited. I hope we pick him up. Good size, he could fill out and add strength to his frame, he could become a handy player.

Imagine having Buku and El Nour intercepting at half back ?

It would be beautiful words to listen to the commentary.

We are definitely interested in Marty Hore according to one of his family members. It doesn't mean he's #1 on our list, but he is definitely on the list.
GWS are the other ones keen on him.

I just watched some highlights from a few years back and he looks to have a combination of flair and the ability to take a good mark.
At 27 I hope we are confident he can slot in quickly.

Hore was really good in his stint at Melbourne as a rangy Jeremy Howe type. I remember being real big on him, but then he was sick I think for a season and injured the next. No idea what he is like now but I like the idea of him much more than say Poulter.

Poulter fwiw I see as best case becoming Kamdyn McIntosh, not really possessing a weapon aside from a an ability to run, but if he plays within his limitations could be a solid second tier guy. Unsure if that's accurate though, I haven't really watched him since he left Collingwood.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

              Nominated Contract Term: 6 months

Delisted by Collingwood at the end of last season, Poulter has impressed on a wing for Footscray in the VFL this year. He played 12 games across two seasons for the Magpies, including 11 games in 2021, after being selected at pick 30 in the 2020 national draft. Across seven VFL games this season, Poulter has averaged 18.1 disposals, 6.3 marks and 0.7 goals.

              Marty Hore
              Williamstown (VFL)

              H: 190cm, W: 84kg, DOB: 5/3/1996
              Nominated Contract Term: 6 months

The former Melbourne defender has been rock solid for Williamstown in the VFL this season, after making the switch from North Melbourne?s VFL side at the end of last season. Hore played 14 AFL games across three seasons with the Demons before being delisted at the end of the 2021 season. Hore has been the leading intercept player in the VFL this year, averaging 5.6 intercept marks and 10.4 intercept possessions.
Poulter could have appeal. Given he's been with us since the beginning of pre-season training, we have first-hand knowledge of his fitness and performance at VFL level. He's ready to go, so we could try him on the wing and move Oscar Baker to the backline to cover for JJ while he's out.

Cats will probably play Naismith this week if they get him.

I doubt they would but I hope they do as that would mean one of Ceglar or Naismith playing forward the majority of the game, a prospect that should hardly strike fear into the heart of our defenders.

I would expect that Naismith could replace Ceglar. Would not see them playing both.

The interesting bit for me is Freo have been linked to Hansen Jnr a few times but really need another taller option forward of the ball.
I liked the Josh Corbett pick up from the Suns for almost nothing, he played a few good games on the Gold Coast but he's not the answer

Surely Ceglar isn't that bad they would tip him straight out for Naismith? Thought Ceglar was a solid enough ruckman. If they took Naismith it would surely be more for insurance purposes.
