Pace, agility, aggression, goal sense. He?s the full package for a small forward. He?s also shown the ability this year to push further up the ground, potentially filling that high half forward role.

Probably unlikely we?d take yet another forward at the top end considering we?ve taken JUH, Darcy, Weightman, Clarke and Croft in the last 5 years, but I?d like to see us have a couple picks in the 20s this year and use one on Kako.

Bonus points for the fact he?s an Essendon NGA, and we can pay them back for taking Lual last year
We're desperate for a small forward so I can see the appeal.
Underagers certainly featured prominently last year at the Vic clubs. Oakleigh's starting midfield was all underage IIRC.

Can never go wrong with drafting more pace and skill so I?m happy with Kako if we do take an interest. I like Sanders but it?s a pity we had to trade out of this draft to get him given it?s stacked with smalls, flankers and mids and that?s what we need to be focusing on at the draft. Still, a year of development in Sanders gives us a better side in the immediate future than if we waited for this year so I won?t complain

I still think we paid a pretty high price for Sanders, especially when we consider that wing types were on the board near our original pick.

What a shame we missed Watson. He will be an absolute gun.

I don’t know who will be better but I love watching the Wizard. He’s not “good” yet but he’s such a little jerk and absolute box office every time he touches it. I almost want to trade Cody to Hawthorn just to see a forward line with him, Watson, Ginni and Moore in it.

It must be a "thing" about being a small forward (maybe small man's syndrome)? a lot seem to be little douche bags, we have Clarke, West doesn't mind getting in peoples faces and Cody (a nicer Douche), some past players such as Jeff Farmer, Stevie Milne, Hayden Ballantyne and i'm sure there were plenty of others.

I think small forwards are incredibly valuable, but it also feels like the position where you can land an excellent one in the third round. I don't mind missing Watson as long as we're still trying to find one in the draft.

Ginnivan is a great example - think his ceiling isn't far off Watson and he was a rookie pick.

Fremantle know how to spot small forwards as well as the Giants and Crows identify intercept defenders. Strangely enough Freo is pretty handy in that regard also.

Like always we will start to get some more media coverage with the SA and WA boys closer to the draft.
