Richmond involved a trade back of their second. Only thing I can think of is if it involved too much going back to them?

Either way, screw this Seppo bullshit about the draft needing to be some big event. Take it back to one day, I've never seen anyone actually say they like it being over two days.
So refreshing to see seppo used in angst. Always been one of my fav rhyming slangs!

        Night one winners
Richmond obviously, Brisbane for spooking teams into not bidding on their picks and GWS for their unique selections.
        Night one losers
Essendon they really stuffed up and I wonder if they might be missing Dodoro
North who just continue to surprise.

I'm not sure where the Eagles fit in

Criticised for trading their first assuming Kako would be bid on before then. IDK if that holds up it could well be Kako was bid on later because Essendon didn't have a major pick on the board close enough to his value.

Let's kick them in the balls anyway.

100%. If they had 9, he would have been bid on.

Clubs let other clubs get away with below value bids as long as they play the game too.

I do the same and yes thankyou very much to the Woof faithful, I too would have given up without the updates here.

Future first and 9 to get ahead of the bid range.
They get two excellent prospects this year.

                    Hindsight is golden though

Perhaps the same could have happened with Croft last year. If we didn't trade our pick the bid would have come at our original pick.

To be fair, Mick Ablett is friends with Dodoro and would have been pretty keen to fly the flag on his behalf...Shifter also mates with Adrian but a bit more political - wouldn't say anything that could be construed as criticism in any forum where he might later be quoted!!!
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

It is amazing what happens when travelling for work overseas and a few drinks... it all comes out.
