If we end up with Crameri and Patton would Jones then become trade bait?

It's a very interesting suggestion but considering how long most key forwards take to develop we would be giving up too early on Jones and likely waiting another 2 years for Patton to grow into a 20 game a season player.

I'd be keeping Jones.

Agreed. I think we'd regret giving Jones away and seeing him develop into a very good KPF within the Freo system. Patton and Crameri play different roles anyway.

The other side of the coin is keeping Jones with an open mind to using him as a defender, CHB.

Patton, Crameri, Grant, Stringer, Gia, Campbell, Hrovat, Hunter, Cordy (?), (Higgins if on list)

Roughy, Williams and Jones are swing men in this scenario.

You'd do Crameri for Higgins every day of the week, especially if Higgo wants a fresh start and it meant keeping pick 22.

Not keen on trading out 22 and Wood for Docherty. Would prefer to try and deal with GWS for the compo pick or just use pick 22 for the best available. Still plenty of talent left at that pick.

If we could nab Patton, Crameri and keep our second pick, Jason McCartney is officially a genius.

Not likely considering its sounding like we'll give up pick 22 just for Crameri.....

I was listening earlier in the night when the presenter put up a proposal up that Carlton should enquire about Nick Riewoldt! I changed stations.
Be more inclined to believe a few Esssendon insiders who reckon Crameri's gone to be honest.
