This really shits me (sorry, but no other word fits)

From a crap article by a crap journalist:

'It was always going to cost some team a premiership. Box Hill won't be the last.'

    Read more: http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-new...#ixzz3E2xyuVGa

Rioli hasn't played VFL ever!!! So if he had played the whole game that would have been fair?

To me the whole issue is irrelevant and it is really just crap journalism. You can only beat the side you play against. Who is to know what would happen if players aren't benched or players don't get injured. The game was played, we won, get over it!

You're very kind calling it journalism....

For all the guys, who were not at the game, here are some of the pictures I took to share with you guys. Sorry for the bad quality. The lighting was dull, the roof was closed, photos taken at high ISO and no flashes:

Liam and Jarryd'd output haven't matched their abilities for mine .
I don't think it can be argued that they have.
Grant got picked early because of his undoubted ability ( wasn't clayton going to swim across the Yarra if he didn't make it?)
Yesterday was great, and was a real shot in the arm for the club and it's outlook, but let's not kid ourselves that there are some footballers who played that have careers at a knifes edge.

I believe he sad The Bay. He didnt specify if he meant Port Phillip or Hobson's Bay.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

I liked it how he said that he'd do it if Grant wasn't the *fourth* best player, because he didn't rate Masten.

He was in Port Melbourne at the time and he said he'd swim from here to Williamtown.

Don't worry about the best tall in that draft, you could comfortably make a case that he's the worst pick in the top 20 in that draft, barring Notte at pick 20 and Veszpremi who we got anyway!

That would make it Hobson's Bay then. Smart man choosing the smaller of the bays.

But was enthralled with Cale Morton, and presumably would've taken him if available over Grant.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

Highlights for me from a brilliant day. -

Jong continuously collecting the ball from a pack and just taking off, very unlucky with that HTB?
Big Jack throwing his weight around.
                      Cordy and Campbells ruck work.
JJ and Tutts run and ball use.
Jones has been great all year at kicking clutch goals, please don't leave.
                      Pearce's mark and goal.
Tory's goal on the run in the last lifted the roof!!

Ted Ballieu's ancestor jumped ship in Queenscliff, swam to Portsea and they've been there ever since. Tom Williams, not Jarred Grant also jumped into the hostile waters without reckoning if the bay was smaller than Hobsons. I still hope Jarred can rise again to be who his true self is.

Got this email today about what the Footscray team and the two games I took my grand parents to being the pre-lim & GF and what it meant to my grandparents who are 80+, and made me smile so I thought I'd share it:

                            Hello BT,
Do you know that you have made Nan and Pop very happy?
After the first game you took them to, Mum rang me and said it was one of the happiest days of her life!
Not only did she meet some Bulldog players, - her and Pop spent the day with you.
She was over the moon. Dad was pretty pleased too, but you know what men are like, they don’t say much!
They both thoroughly enjoyed Sunday too, and are looking forward to being able to drive up to visit you and Mrs BT
                            Plus we WON!!

                            Love, Aunt of BT
