Some people still don't get it. I was coming out of the supermarket on Saturday and noticed so many things that defied commonsense.
Families of 4 and 5 all shopping together...surely this is a one person job given the environment
People squeezing into lifts rather than waiting or taking the ramps etc

We still have a way to go at the moment
A lot of sole traders in Footscray took it upon them selves to mark out safe zones on the footpaths and in their shops with electrical tape in the last couple of weeks.

I have taken to being firstly firm but polite and asking people to keep their distance please and thank you. If that doesn't work then I go straight to "*!*!*!*! off out of my space mate" and a look.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Yeah, people are going feral over parked cars on the surf coast......again you should see the amount of cars parked at IKEA each weekend. Multiply this out across every single retail site in Melbourne and I think we are kind of focusing on the wrong thing.

Not saying that going to the beach is OK, just suggesting that there's a bit of a double standard at play here and we're being taken for fools by government thinking that we don't see it - irrespective of people putting themselves in danger nonetheless.
      TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

I had some dickhead enter a lift as I was exiting it in my building, and I just shook my head and sighed. Looking back I noticed he saw it and had a pretty stupid expression on his face.

I have already told this story but I will tell it again. Last week I was in line at the chemist (I go most days to get suboxone, basically it stops my body craving heroin and stops me from using it-been clean for 10+ years, yay for me!) when the old fella at the front of the cue was due to be served but he realized that his wife had wandered off and he didn't know what he wanted. So he spots her and goes to walk over to her but that would have bought him into my orbit. Basically I had a nanosecond to weigh up how it would look if I shirtfronted the octogenarian to the ground. I decided not to do it. But only just.

If he hadn't agreed to that then he would have been prime minister, but the caucus knew they couldn't trust him and didn't support him 100% at the 2019 election.

Shorten's paranoia and his lack of willingness to trust anyone cost labor the last election. They didn't even have an election committee-it was just Shorten and a couple of his dickhead mates running the show.
The way the tracking in Singapore works, is that they send you a text message with a link twice a day, that you have to click on within a certain amount of time, and it verifies that you are at home.

The upside of all this isolation is there is vastly less cars on the road and the air quality will improve substantially
The other upside might be that people eat a whole lot better for a period of time. I don't think I have had a take away meal or anything from a cafe not even from the work canteen for more than 2 weeks now.

We are trying to strike a bit of a balance on that. Whilst we are concious of trying to eat healthily as a family - we also want to support the local businesses in Seddon that have set up take away menus or who are still doing take away coffees/breakfasts etc. Seeing as we weren't out spending money on other activities on the weekend, we had a nice take away dinner and drinks on Saturday night to treat it like we were going out.

What do you use for video meetings? We use Microsoft teams which works well. I adjust the background so it is blurred, but I know Zoom and some others you can choose your background and make it look like an office (for example)

Friends and I had "virtual drinks" on Saturday night, and one friend used a background (looked a bit like the Great Ocean Road). Her wine glass kept disappearing into it and it looked strange when she was typing on her computer and the camera was shaking ever so slightly and her background wasn't. Almost came off a bit like a bad sketch from old Hey Hey, It's Saturday and the effect was far funnier than it should have been.
Wake me up when we get to heaven, let me sleep if we're going to hell

Good luck, for your sake I hope heaven and hell are really there, but I wouldn't hold my breath

And we all found heaven - 2016 Premiers!

Yeah we are on teams too, works quite well. We just had it installed last Monday so I'm still getting used to it.
