Kit Harrington was on the Graham Naughton show with members of the Marvel “End Game” movie; he was asked have you got any souvenirs or taken anything from the set of Game of Thrones. His response was ‘I have a life-size statue of myself’.

Given that the only place we see statues is the crypt, does Jon Snow die in this battle against the dead?

They must have mentioned how safe the crypts were half a dozen times. I’m tipping the crypts are not safe when the enemy can raise the dead!

Do you happen to know which real life battle it is based on? St Albans, Wakefield, Towton, Tewkesbury? I'm thinking it might be Bosworth Field if its the final battle.

I'm pretty sure that it would be. Most of GOT is based on the Wars of the Roses. there is no such thing as total fiction when it comes to history, it's all based on accounts of something that actually happened. Take Shakespeare for instance, everyone of his plays are based on actual historical events (It's one of the reasons it's hard to accept that Shakespeare wrote Shakespeare and wasn't just a front for someone else. How does a bloke who never traveled out of the south of England know what was going on in Verona or Rome when Ceaser was in charge? Or about Ovid writing Pyramus and Thisbe (Romeo and Juliet is based on it) when Ovid lived a 1000 years before?) It must have been written by an author who had either traveled a lot or was much better educated than Shakespeare.

Anyway after the episode tell me what the battle is like (Was there a lot of snow, does one army hang back before committing to one side during the battle, does the king have any questions about whether he should be on the throne and that sort of thing) and I can tell you which real life battle it is based on.
