in 6 episodes. It's never easy to end a series the right way, so many great shows have fallen a little flat at the end. You are expecting them to be bigger and better each time but reality is that the wind up is often the least satisfying for a viewer.

Personally I think the season has been pretty good, and i'm a massive fan. There are aspect I've disliked for sure, but there has been some really good stuff as well.

In hindsight I guess they have been sowing the seeds of Dany becoming a mad Queen for a long time but the actual point when it occurs it does feel like it happened rather quickly. I can't see how someone who was so hell bent on freeing slaves could suddenly do what she did because of one action. If anything she should be stronger in her resolve through the sum of her experiences, but I guess it makes for an interesting story line.

Arya's story line is the most confusing but I guess we don't have all the answers there just yet. I was sure we were going to see her use Jamie's face to get closer to Cersei or something but that was a dead end.
There must be a twist or a point to the whole faceless men thing. Why introduce something like being able to be anyone by wearing their face if it's not going to be a major part of the end game. There has to be something in the last episode or what was the point of all of that particular aspect.
I've heard this theory time and time again and I've just laughed it off every time.

Jaime Lannister is around a foot taller than Arya Stark. I'd like to think such a discrepancy would be noticed.

In saying that, the sudden turns of events in this episode were confusing.

Not that I'm complaining about the episode itself, it was exactly the spectacle you'd expect from Miguel Sapochnik's direction.

They've got a hell of a lot to wrap up in the finale.

Just sit back and enjoy it in isolation. You'll have all sorts of images coming back to you.

      Ramin Djawadi is a genius.

That is true but somehow they are able to become anyone through whatever magic is happening. They can change their voice somehow so it is not as far fetched to say their appearance also changes. She managed to do it when she wore Walder's face.

But, are Jamie and Cersei dead? Will Arya kill Dany?

They've gone all action and no intrigue which I've found dissapointing. In the past they've got the balance right. Winterfell battle yep that was ok, but two episodes basically all action too much I think. But as someone above said hard to end such an epic show, you'll never please everyone. But Cersei's end was really quite a let down. Dany's decline into villiany was also far too rapid. Too much black and white not enough grey.

True, but David Bradley would be an easy enough impression to pull of. Just scream non stop for an hour in the lead up and you'll get his raspy voice down pat.

Interestingly enough, 'Daenerys Targaryen eye colour' searches have gone nuts since the episode went to air.

Emilia Clarke's eyes have a green tinge to them.

                Just sayin...

Reading these comments it looks like Daenerys isn't the only one that's gone mad.

                    Its a fairly divisive episode.

Fair to say its basically blown up the internet.

Maybe I'm the one that's gone mad then.

It was visually amazing, no question. The acting and music score without fault.

Lot's of speculation, how it all ends is making us mad.

As a rule I don’t watch YouTube videos on GoT. However, Funny Or Die’s latest 2 minute video is a back & forth splice of Ep4 of Tyrion at the castle wall begging to end the violence, spliced with Monty Python Holy Grail French taunting from the top of the castle wall. Good back and forth and blend of classic pop culture icons.

                              Awesome.

I’m with you. A lot of over analysis for me. I watched it twice, and enjoyed both. Not shocked to shit the second time though.
