Ah yep that makes sense. It would have been around then I reckon.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

David Tennant is captivating in Des. Absolutely brilliant, it's a masterclass in character acting.

And I have to say, having worked in a Job Centre that I worked with more than one Des.

Have you seen the british show The Job Lot?

More of an In Bruges guy?

I only saw some of it but Arcane, the show about League of Legends characters, seems surprisingly good. Saw some hype about it from anime reviewers as well.

                Such a waste.

Very lucky to have heard that magnificent human live.

If I was a tatts guy, probably be Cornell on one arm, Cobain on the other. Biggest influences.

Maybe Chris Cheney - Living End are the best and from Wheelers Hill
God there's a lot in this post I want to unpack.

I grew up in Wheelers Hill and knew some folks in the Prisoner of Society video clip. I *!*!*!*!ing hate The Living End, but really don't. You had to grow up in the area to understand.

Each to their own but I didn't really like Cornell's solo style. I won't say too much about my feelings on it lest I trigger you into a tirade of telling me why I should really like him, but it just didn't hit the mark for me but I thought he was perfect when in SG. But indeed, sorely missed.

When I played bass the go to was Nirvana, I could play their tracks by ear with a bit of practice. For a year eleven communications project I played bass for a band we called the Circus Monkeys. We put up posters all over school saying The Circus Monkeys are coming, and to be at the hall at a particular lunch time. It actually went off, and was great fun. I was nervous AF, even though prior to that I had sung across different parts of Australia and Europe with a choir, but as I am now, then I was always apprehensive of trying to show off what I could do in front of people I knew.

Interestingly when I have Youtube sessions not a lot of Nirvana gets played, but when I go back to them I really feel it.

It follows three people from Newark New Jersey from early adulthood up at regular intervals as they descend from petty crime into full blown heroin addiction and hard crime...
I woke up at 2:30am this morning and was unable to get back to sleep as I just kept thinking about it... I warn you though it's confronting and dark.
I'd show this to any kid who looked like venturing down that path...

Some of the themes in the normal 7-up were confronting enough when you really think about them. Just let me get through The Sopranos over the next couple of weeks and I'll give it a shot.

On another note, I saw Dune last night and it was COMPLETELY MAD.

If you haven't read the book, I would at least spend the time on a summarised version so you get the gist, but Jesus, it was nailed. And I say that even though I'm probably going to have COVID given I watched it at Northland, and it seemed the theatre went with the desert theme and almost baked us out of the joint.

Can't wait to watch it on my home system on my own couch.

I watched it a month ago through my HBO subscription. HBO release a movie a month at the same time as it hits USA theatres.

I enjoyed it, but the wife didn't.

I've been watching The Wheel of Time. I loved the books when I was a kid.

It's... Not good. But I'm persisting because there are glimpses of a decent show in there. At the moment it's just trying too hard.

Danny McGinlay's best guess was that he got Covid from going to Northies to buy his son Pokemon cards, you might want to watch out...

I've already assumed I'm part of a super spreader event.

Northland's a hive of humanity. At its plainest.
