Re: What are you watching at the moment

Halloween weekend so we’ve been on a horror movie binge.

My boy asked me to pick the most horrifying thing I’d ever watched so I put on the last quarter of the 2021 GF!
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Anyway, I'm now up to date as far as Succession goes (s3 e3 I think)........I hadn't been motovated to think of anything else to watch even though this thread is full of alternatives to consider.

It reminds me of that weird time in my life where I watched Suits, for no apparent reason. The show is basically of the same formula, conflict, pause, stare and repeat. Just more swearing. If it had nudity it would be heaps sick.
            TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

I am enjoying it and also knowing it is loosely based on Murdoch.

It’s funny how that happens. I’m watching Wentworth at the moment and I’m up to season 3, I’m ready to through the remote at the tv, but no doubt I will continue on to the end.

As a HUGE Halloween fan, I went and saw Halloween Kills the other night. Hmmm very very avge. Some of the kills were very intense. Big tick…but geez the dialogue was written by a 13 year old, and Jamie Lee Curtis had nothing to work with. I won’t give any more info in case of spoilers. 5.5/10
I will never see #16 the same!!

There's a thread waiting to happen. "TV shows we watched every episode of and still don't know why we did"

Anyway I've watched every episode of every iteration of Law and Order (CI, SVU, UK, LA Trial by Jury and others) apart from a few of the most recent series of SVU and the new Organised Crime but they are all saved to the hard drive waiting to be watched.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

I only watched bits and pieces of Sopranos over time, but kind of kept up with it but didn't, so I decided I'd get into that before my free trial on Binge runs out. It's really good, which is something I don't need to tell people here about......but it's really good.

Have you watched Annika on ABC on Friday nights? It's about a marine homicide unit and set in Glasgow with Nicola Walker from Spooks as the head copper. It's bloody good.

She addresses the fourth wall a lot and while I usually find that really cringeworthy and awful, in the hands of an accomplished actor like her it's quite enjoyable-kind of like being let in on a secret.

Watched the first episode and couldn't stand her talking to the camera, really spoilt it for me.
