Re: What are you watching at the moment

Unemployment has been excellent for my TV consumption. I just did Gen V series one in a 24 hour period, without feeling like it was the only thing I did during that time............I'm up to date on Fargo series five and Slow Horses series three.

Gen V was a bit of a romp/ good fun. I didn't really like the last series of The Boys as I thought the schtick was becoming too much, but with its absence from screens getting that schtick back was refreshing versus the other stuff I've been watching.
    TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

We ploughed through Bosch and Bosch Legacy, really cool show. Much better than I expected.

Just discovered Love, Death and Robots and I love it. I wanted so many episodes to be made into movies.

      Gen V was too imo.

Uuurrrggghhh Jesus, I forgot to mention I watched John Wick 4 the other day.

As if you don't just shoot the blind dude in the face with a sniper rifle from two hundred metres away? And that's just the start of the overbearing and really camp shit that fills what is essentially a pantomime and not a film.

Watched the second series of Time (BBC Production). In the second series Jodie Whittacker stars as the person who goes to Jail.

Only three parts, but enjoyed it immensely.

What platform is that on again? (S1 was based on the submarine, right)?

Yes it was based on the murder in a submarine. This time it is an army issue and drones going out of control.

                    I am watching through BBCIplayer.

Its worth forgetting I felt the Reeves must be either hard up for cash or he signed a contract after Wick 1 under a false impression.

Re: What are you watching at the moment

Jennifer Jason Leigh is possibly the hottest person on TV right now.

While I find her character vile she's portraying it extremely well and adding a loveable anti-hero element we've not seen in the Fargo series since Billy Bob Thornton in season one (Bokeem Woodbine a respectable third in season two).

Her efforts in episode five were perfect. Her portrayal of the stereotypical cold, brutal and shrill corporatist/ neo-liberalist does a lot to offset some of the bumbling elements of what's been a pretty solid fifth season so far.

Slow Horses season 3 the best one yet. Crazy good.

Season five has been bloody good. I’m still in awe of Juno Temple acting.

Oh yeah, I cannot articulate how overrated I think Mick Jagger is, but the Strange Game song is so bloody perfect as the opener and closer for Slow Horses.
