Billy Bob Thornton character in season one, is one of the best ever to grace our tv screens.

Jon Hamm a loved what Billy Bob did in season one and I reckon has taken inspiration from that character.

How good is Juno Temples acting. Accent is spot on.

Honestly we are spoiled having Fargo and Slow Horses on at the same time.

Re: What are you watching at the moment

Yeah I really liked the first few episodes of Fargo s5. Waiting for more to drop!

Have watched a couple of Australian flicks these past few days, one being The Dry with Eric Banner and the other The Stranger with Joel Edgerton. Thought both were excellent, particularly the latter which gave a really good insight into how law enforcement might pursue a missing persons/ abduction/ murder case.

Slow Horses is quality. Thought the bit at The Park in ep1 of this season was a bit silly/ over the top but it's a fun watch with nice dry humour driving it.
          TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

I loved The Stranger. Brutally cold movie (compliment) and great performances from both leads.

The Dry wasn’t as strong but I’ve always thought that Eric Bana is a top 5 actor when he doesn’t have to do his Point Break knockoff American accent.

There’s something 10% more enjoyable about Australian movies too.

Yep I really enjoyed season 1 with Billy Bob and Martin Freeman.

I'm probably not enjoying this series as much as the others but it's early days. The accents and rapid fire delivery at times almost has me going for subtitles.

I watch everything with subtitles now.

And there's a reason for it outside of me being ignant and old (which I accept on both counts)......it's the way they run the recording track.

The British shows are the worst for that.

The overall sound profile of a production.

A lot of the vocal elements are muffled as other elements are prioritised for effect. Have to explain everything.......

Subtitles always. I often find myself reading them and thinking "thank god these are on because that didn't sound anything like that".

Plus babies are very keen to make a lot of noise during tv shows it turns out.
I should leave it alone but you're not right
