Watching We Own This City. Based on non-fiction book by journalist about Baltimore Police Force. Well scripted and gritty. David Simon is one of producers and I think script writers.

Fans of The Wire (including me) will enjoy picking out actors from The Wire eg The Wire characters Poot and Malo, playing cops this time. Latter was of course in Bosch (glad to read some of you like Bosch, we were fans too).

Episode five of Masters of the Air is the best so far and very disturbing.

You really feel that you're up there high over Germany flying this mission, and that is really bad because this mission is exponentially worse than any previously.
The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride.

Been watching Fool me Once on Netflix. It is ok, a typical Harban Corben written mystery.

My wife watched it. I worked on a new intro to Wild Horses.

It's just too stupid for words. But yes, she tells me it was the 'best' (low bar) episode and things are starting to come together.
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

Agree, it was the best episode

I've been enjoying the whole season, but I get why people aren't into it.

Feeling as if I haven't sworn at the TV enough since the second last week of the 2023 home and away season I have put myself through the Nemesis documentary.

Good grief, very little wonder people can't be arsed with politics and politicians in general. Abbott didn't join for the first of three episodes, because you know ABC and all that, but Turnbull and Morrison did (I think vanity got in the way of ideology with them) and if you ever needed an example of how Canberra isn't serving people you won't get a better one.

Came back this afternoon, but we had dusted off the DVD player. And I’ve always got a stack of books on the go.
Now to catch up on Masters of the Air and see if True Detective completely falls apart or manages to salvage it all.

Just watched the movie “Land of Bad”.

Can’t help it… but Liam Hemsworth gives me full Billy Gowers vibes - facially that is.

The final scene is perfection for me. Simon really hits it home in the issue.

On that, I just finished The Duece owing to Simon doing the show too. Some really grown up issues away from his strictly law enforcement in Baltimore type excellence. And one of the most memorable deaths of a character ever. Even by his standard, it got my complete attention.
