Re: What are you watching at the moment
It started off a bit bumbling and I thought the whole concept of the show was going to go up its arse a bit, but then it escalated and the series finished off really well.
It's enjoyed the limelight because the US hasn't been able to produce a lot of content due to industrial action, but it also plays ahead and has shorter seasons whilst still putting content together after filming which means the cadence is great.
Juno Temple has been great and a close second to the impact Jennifer Jason Leigh has had on the season so far. Richa Moorjani is awesome as well as the hard working copper trying to get shit done (and I'd hate to be in her real life marital situation).
Jon Hamm and Joe Keery take a bit of a backseat in a plotline with Sam Spruell's character who is just downright creepy, but honest at the same time.
The depth of quality in this season makes me think they realised s4 was a bit undercooked in writing and execution.
