Kind of hope Brasil can win it for Pele before he passes.

Kinda sorta as well. But a firing Brazil is good for football. They are beautiful to watch when on song. It will be interesting to see how they go against a team that sits back, defends well and has a good counter attack.

Ramos replacing Ronaldo in the Portugal team and scoring a hat trick may be the schadenfreude winner of this World Cup.
Portugal score 6 and they were nearly all absolutely beautiful to watch. Ramos' first was a ripper.

The way he squeezed it past the keeper and post from the angle was great to watch

                    Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup

My tipping has been good this year. I got 12 out of the 16 qualifiers for the knock - out stage. I missed out on Germany, Belgium, Cameroon and Uruguay.

And I tipped 7 out of 8 winners for the first round of the knock out stage. I missed out on Switzerland (badly!)

A great World Cup it was from us looking back. A fantastic effort in all the games even against France who we knew were always going to be difficult. Jackson Irvine went to my school.

Fair start to the quarter finals.

Gee Croatia are a gutsy team. They just hang in for the full 120 mins. They lack a quality striker but they will be so hard to break down in the semi.

Didn’t watch it but wow Brazil out. Totally unexpected. Did Brazil play well but not able to break down Croatian defence?

Brazil weren't terrible but Croatia's defence is next level compared to South Korea and they just couldn't break them down. Also Croatia were able to hold possession in midfield well to preserve their legs.

Neymar's goal was brilliant but they switched off in the 2nd half of extra time and were completely deflated after the equaliser.

Thanks. In a way it doesn’t surprise. Tough defences are hard to break down. Croatia are tough.

Brazil looked great during the tournament but again can’t take it further than the quarters. They will be baying for blood down in Brazil.
