I think you suggested that Head might have been a better option in this series to open the batting and all things being equal he probably should have replaced Warner but that was never going to happen.
A lot falls onto Renshaw and Handscomb to contribute with some runs.
I think so. I'd have gone with a pretty fluid batting line-up and tried to arrange a few match-ups like:
-Head to open and face the harder ball and greater percentage of time against pace
-Khawaja at 4 to split up the right-handed pair at 3 and 4
-Smith sliding down the order as our best player of spin
-I would've had Inglis in the squad as well. He's one of the best players of spin in the country.
Just think you need to be a bit creative to win in India
