Re: NBA Thread
As much as BG has the offensive game, his game is flawed in other areas. He doesn't make good decisions, and lacks a whole heap on the defensive side.
I think the club will make a big play for a FA as well now.Comment

Re: NBA Thread
Who does everyone think we take the championship next season? given the recent FA signings.
I think the Lakers will probably take it out again, Miami will definitely be up but i don't think they will go all the way.
A surprise packet might be the Rockets, given that they were able to sign Miller the other day. If they're able to keep Yao Ming on the court for majority of the season, they could well cause some grief.Comment

Re: NBA Thread
It is currently impossible to see anyone beat the Heat at the moment.
Despite the Big 3 taking most of the cash, they are managing to sign role players they will need across the rest of the floor.
Mike Miller - one of the best 3-pt shooters in the league.
Ilgauskas to wear six fouls and protect the middle.
Young Mario Chalmers to spell Wade at the point.
No one will be able to defend these guysDoing my best to use emojis more frequently :oComment

They're beatable. The Lakers have quietly gone about their own business. Signing Barnes and Blake are pretty big moves, they'll fit into the team nicely especially Blake as they won't have to go to the awful Vujacic as much and I think Farmar is gone now. They really haven't lost anything from their squad that won last season and added to pretty decent players as well.Comment

Re: NBA Thread
Looks like Lebron set a trend in the FA market. Another show was aired for a FA's decision in the NBA.

Re: NBA Thread
Lakers will be a tough out. Orlando SHOULD be a tough out but Howard's habit of getting in foul trouble will probably mean they aren't.
The development of OKC will be interesting to watch - is Durant going to average 35+ ppg next season? 40ppg? Who will stop him? Maybe a 2012 contender....the other question for 2012 is where Anthony ends up. If Houston could add him alongside Yao then they might be something as well. What should I tell her? She's going to ask.Comment

Re: NBA Thread
I guess they'll be looking at a 2-3, or a 3-2 set up rather than the 2 guard, 2 Fwd, 1 center traditional set up?Comment
