Aaron Brooks and the Yao-less Rockets smoke the lakers yesterday

    Great read on Chauncey Billups
Chauncey Billups has won an NBA title, been Finals MVP and is now driving Denver's playoff run. Not bad for a guy who has changed teams six times.

Saw Glen "Big Baby" Davis hit an open jumper to level the series 2-2 for the Celts the other day. Man did that big guy celebrate, even accidentally took out a kid on the sideleines on the way. Magic left him open to double team Pierce, as you would, and his flat looking jumper was nothing but net.
Cavs have won 8 straight games by double figures and now get a week or two off hoping the Magic and Celts wear each other out.

And an older article that people may enjoy on the birdman: Chris Andersen

Chris Andersen is back in the NBA after a two-year suspension, but it's all bittersweet for his mother, writes Chris Palmer.

Who do you think will lose to the Cavs in the Eastern Conference playoffs? Boston or Orlando? I'd prefer for the Cavs to play a Garnetless Celtics. I want Denver to win the West. Anyone but the Lakers.

Unfortunately I don't think it matters who makes it in the East. I just cant see anyone in the East getting past the Cavs.

Boston are just too thin on players with Garnett and Powe injured. Orlando just haven't looked good enough.

Shame Yao went down in the West. Denver are the peoples champs and most are hoping for the to beat LA. Denver v LA should be a good series, provided LA can finish off the Rockets.

Rockets take it to Game 7. Are the Lakers a joke away from home? Are the Rockets the gutsiest team around? Is Rick Adelman a genius? If the Rockets win in LA will their be a new LA riot?
I can't see the Rockets winning again but god I hope they do.
Denver must be feeling pretty good about the upcoming series right now.

Denver vs Rockets would be AWESOME!!! I watched the last half of Boston Vs Orlando game 6 yesterday. Pierce hit some big shots towards the end there. If Rockets can beat Lakers in game 7 my Rockets vs Cavs wish will become more likely.

I can't see the Rockets winning game 7 against the Lakers let alone a series against Denver without Yao. The tallest player they put on the floor last night was about 6'9"

True....but they have won 2 out of 3 vs LA without him, so it could happen. If the LA guards dont pick up there game - defensively and shooting - they could actually lose game 7.

True if any team will do it it's them and if any can blow it, it's the Lakers, however the Lakers are a different beast at home and the Rockets have to do everything right to win it whereas the Lakers have a bit more leeway with the depth available. Although the way Bynum is playing the Rockets don't need a Centre to win it.

Magic 107 def Cavs 106 in Game 1.

The game was live on One HD today. Does anyone think Magic can win the series?

                            Wow.

Thought the Cavs would sweep the Magic in a canter.

Shattered. We blew the lead. I still think we'll win the series. I didn't watch the game, only the highlights on the news. How good was Mo's halftime buzzer beater shot? The one right at the end was close to going in too. I don't like One HD. It means that ESPN are showing the first 3/4 lakers games (I think?) PUT CAVS ON ESPN!!!

For those that watched it, how did we lose after being up by 16+ in the 3rd?

Excellent result! 3 more to go Magic. It's a pity Denver blew Game 1.

One of my worst nightmares is to see a Laker/Cavs series, well I probably wouldn't bother watching it if it happened. Two teams who have the most Johnny-come-lately fans attached to them turns me off completely. Speaking of Johnny were did those Heat fans go?

                                C'Mon Denver, C'Mon Magic!

One HD is still not available here so I missed this game
