Wenger in his press conference: "The transfer market starts for me now and a lot of activity will happen between now and September 2. From August 21 until September 2 you have 12 days, so a lot will happen. It starts now."

Not return fire, a smart swap/business for both club if it comes off.

Seems the clubs are going about this the right way, we want Rooney, you guys are naming the price. Mata is apparently behind a few players in the starting 11 with the style Jose wants to play.

But then again who knows its probably just tabloid crap because Matas only been able to play one game so far this preseason/season because of injury.
