Jakey Boy
ESSENDON coach Brad Scott's wry smile has indicated off-contract playmaker Jake Stringer is likely to remain at the Bombers beyond this year.
Just three weeks out from the end of the home-and-away season, the 30-year-old is still without a deal for 2025.FFC: Established 1883

Re: Following our exes...................
Admittedly I only saw the end of the match but Ryan had 30 possessions, 9 marks, 647 metres gained and 8 intercept possessions (most on the ground).Comment

Re: Following our exes...................
I listened to an interesting podcast with Mitch Hannan. He talks about Sanders living at his house and all the questions he asks and things like supporters being overly critical (and downright cruel) in Social media about how players are performing. He's a very intelligent and well spoken guy.

Re: Following our exes...................
Stringer made him accountable and kept him deep for the entire game.
I've been to a couple of Freo games this season, notably against the Tigers he basically did what he wanted and zoned off at will
How many pressure acts did he have
Worth noting he didn't feature in the coaches votes and Stringer did.BT COME BACK!

Western Bulldogs legend Bob Murphy resigns from role at Fremantle to return home to Victoria
Western Bulldogs legend Bob Murphy is leaving his off-field role at Fremantle to return to Victoria for personal reasons.
The Dockers confirmed to The West Australian Murphy has resigned from his position at the club and will head back to Melbourne at the end of the AFL season.
Murphy joined the Dockers in 2021, initially as the club?s head of football operations and performance and was later made boss of the club?s women?s program and head of leadership.
In December, he relinquished his position as head of AFLW while being added to the AFL coaching staff as a skills specialist.
Murphy played 312 AFL games across an 18-year career with the Bulldogs but missed their breakthrough premiership in 2016 due to an ACL injury, with coach Luke Beveridge famously handing him his medal on the dais after the game.
Not long after joining the club, Murphy said he had felt a ?certain connection? with Fremantle.
?I?ve got a bit of a thing for underdogs and outsiders, so it just feels to me like a good fit,? he said.Comment
