I?m probably getting soft in my old age but I?ve let go of any Stringer hate. Now I just feel sorry that he?s had to move states to keep playing and will be away from his kids more.

Surely Stringer is divorced and his wife has at minimum 50% custody? Did they not get divorced after everything?

I don't think they were ever married tbh. She certainly has a new partner and I think they even have a kid from memory, but not sure if they are married.

Not sure what kind of Dad he is, but on the surface you would have to say that is bloody tough move. If he is any kind of decent dad that really does paint a bleak picture for interest in him.

Yeah once it ticked past the point of him ever becoming a superstar then I completely got over it. He’s like my favourite player now. The game needs more mercurial jokes.

I've never hated him except for the way he apparently treated some of our players in 2017 but for someone touted as mature when we drafted him, he's shown some Peter Pan tendencies over the years and never quite grown up.

The problem was his maturity reached its zenith when he was 17.

My wife went to school with him and used plenty of words to describe him. Mature was never one of them.
