With our picks, and the fact that we have Daniel/Honey/Hrovat, can we even logically afford to draft McPherson?

I'm sure if he's good enough he'll get drafted .

Is there a points system for Father Son and that is the reason we swapped pick 11?

Yes there is a points system for father son bidding.

No that trade has nothing to do with Darcy as should another club bid for him it will not be that high.

I meant swapping pick 11 for other picks to give us more points.

I know that's what you meant. He will not attract a high bid so the points we will be required to use should he attract a bid will be low. We will be able to use our later picks if necessary, pick 20 & 21 won't be required.

Thanks, just trying to get a handle on swapping pick 11. I guess effectively we lose an early pick but gain two in the next round.

I'll watch Geelong and Collingwood with interest. Both will firmly expect to make the 8 or risk incredible failure, but beyond that, they both gave up a lot to get the players they did.

Danger/Treloar are both good players, although one could argue Pies slightly overpaid for Adam.

Both coughed a fair bit for Aish and Henderson. I could see both having strong careers at their clubs, but just as easily falling into the "good ordinary" category.

For our sake, let's hope both fail - especially Collingwood - who are likely to be one of our challengers in 1-3 years.

At a guess we won't bid and either let him go or take him as a rookie

Elliot Kavanagh has been delisted by the Bombers. Talented player but he could struggle to find another team.

He received no injections during the supplements programme.

Didn't he make it difficult for clubs to draft him because Essendon was his preferred destination?

That was the general consensus, yes.

I don't really get this. If he is talented, why is he being delisted?

                              Out of spite then?
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

He really struggled at AFL level. I think it was more than just his body.
