North Melbourne have traded Ryan Bastinac, pick 38, pick 40 and 2016 third-round pick to the Brisbane Lions for pick 17 and pick 26.

Bastinac is a pretty ordinary and limited footballer IMO.

Those picks are all fairly speculative.

Brisbane now have, pick 2 then 38, 39, 40, 41, 42. You would think they will be using those for academy players, so they are not too worried about the straight ND.

Those picks are all fairly speculative.

I reckon Aish is not all that much chop either - almost cancel each other out IMO (Aish is younger and might flourish at a new environment to be fair).

Brisbane lose face with their ridiculous posturing but the deal isn't too bad, especially with the academy players coming through.
