Re: The Chad Thread
Have to laugh at these experts , SEN he will go to the Hawks 2 hours later SEN he will go to the dogs as the hawks can’t offer what we the dogs can. Talk about hedging your bets, so in effect they have no idea what he will do but when he does make the decision, they knew it.Bring back the biffComment

Re: The Chad Thread
Thinking aloud, I wonder if the hold-up on Wingard making a call is due to another smoky suitor trying to line up all its ducks.
If the choice is truly as simple as stay or come to us, the hold-up seems increasingly odd. But if there are other parts in play, well ...BORDERLINE FLYINGComment

Re: The Chad Thread
Maybe the Dogs and Port behind the scenes are lining up the ducks and are giving nothing to the media until such time as Wingard and his management are ready to make an official announcement."Look at me mate. Look at me. I'm flyin'"Comment

Re: The Chad Thread
How about this.............. we start expressing interest in Jack Martin. Saying pick 7 COULD be used as PART of a deal to get him to the dogs. Put some pressure on Chad and the Power. Let them think that the opportunity might pass them by. Meantime. If the ball starts rolling on the idea of a Jack Martin deal, something might just happen as WELL as, or INSTEAD of the Chad deal. Chad might be wasting our sweet time just trying to screw a better deal out of the power, so I don't think we should be seen to just be waiting for him alone without some other irons in the fire.Comment

Is it really that hard to make a decision if you want to leave a club or not? He's coming across as an indecisive and immature bloke who's enjoying reading all the speculation in the various media outlets about himself.
Given the dollars concerned I get that it's a big decision but he's had enough time to confirm his intention to explore his options or to shut it all down with a clear 'I'm staying' message.
If he stays with Port and can grab headlines again in 12 months time when his contract expires.Western Bulldogs Football Club "Where it's cool to drool"Comment
