I thought I read the other day it was more likely he was retiring. I guess that would rule out Meek for them and maybe that's good news for Tom Campbell.

I read that he would likely be involved in the Melbourne trade, but obviously it's all just speculation.

He would be a decent replacement for Jackson in a back-up sense.

Meek is a first ruckman (only). We already have Sweet as our VFL ruck / back-up.

If we were to lose Dunkley could he be considered as a replacement?

Maybe but they will be years off contending for finals.
Clarkson will need to go through a crawl, walk, run process with North and it's going to take time.
If North need to fix the culture and bring in good people then I'm sure they'd love to bring in Dunkley and they would also be hoping he would be prepared to come to them via the PSD.
