Not sure Shane Charters has a lot of credibility full stop.

I really feel Hirds long time association with Charters casts a shadow over his career unfortunately.

ASADA declares: Bring on the AFL tribunal hearing

Australian anti-doping chief Ben McDevitt has declared his lawyers are ready to prosecute their case against Essendon, regardless of whether his two key witnesses appear before the AFL tribunal.

That's an interesting and complex thought though. I don't really know Charters history. Was he always outside the white lines or has he merely drifted that way as the legitimate science got away from him, or didn't provide the results he thought were worth cheating for?

I feel the same way Maddog. It may be wrong but its a natural reaction i would of thought. I told my mate that, who is an essendon man and he was very offended but how can it not cast some suspicion.

It's funny, I've had discussions with EFC supporters that always thought Hird came back from an injury too quickly and too "large" after an association with him, but they've staunchly defended the club at the same time in this recent controversy.

Crazy times when seemingly rational people can put two and two together on one front (in their own minds) retrospectively, but can't see the trees for the forest, or vice versa (inverse usage intended) on the other front.
              TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Wide ranging and interesting discussion with lots of interviews on the ASADA AFL investigation:

They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

This seems to have lost media momentum as far as I read. I hope they don't use the old political trick of announcing anything in the next 2 weeks to hide the action/inaction.

They have taken a 24 day break.

WA/ASADA don't really believe in all that Magna Carter nonsense.

Would probably all be over by now had Essendon not challenged the investigation in Court.
