The AFL is like America . Think they are the only thing that exists .. I remember when commentators started saying "it's a new world record" about stats ..considering we are the only country that plays the game at this level it was so self indulgent it made me cringe.
He has been found guilty by a court not some stupid body that has no idea of legalities and just focuses on keeping the brand clean for money purposes.

Robbo amuses me - he likes to take aim at the AFL for lacking integrity (particularly in this matter) though through his profession he conducts himself in an eerily similar manner in trying to protect Essendon.

I still feel for Jobe, but if that medal isn't taken from him I'll never take any interest in it again.

It doesn't sound like Essendon's insurers are paying. Matthew Lloyd has just said the club is budgeting on $17,000,000 in player settlements on top of a $9,000,000 trading loss this year.

I guess the AFEL will have to bail them out...

It doesn't sound like Essendon's insurers are paying. Matthew Lloyd has just said the club is budgeting on $17,000,000 in player settlements on top of a $9,000,000 trading loss this year.

I guess the AFEL will have to bail them out...

If they don't have that cash then they are technically insolvent and the Administrators need to be called in.
